This is a great list of the companies that matter most in data, of course we love it since Cloudera is on it. Check it out!

The point that Hilary Mason, GM of Machine Learning at Cloudera, is making is that product designers often have an idealized version of what that product might be, but the process of drawing up the project misses a few steps.

What a great day supporting STEM Field Trip Day! The Cloudera Foundation recently partnered with the Bay Area Discovery Museum for this fun STEM awareness day. We received glowing feedback from the Museum Director as well: "STEM Field Trip Day itself would not have been possible without the Cloudera Foundation’s support, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Foundation in its first year. With the Foundation’s support, we brought 1,000 students and their teachers and chaperones to the museum for a day of facilitated, hands-on, research-backed STEM programming. Every class received free transportation and admission to the museum, snacks, and free admission passes so that students can return with their families. Each teacher also received a STEM kit that we designed and built in our onsite Fab Lab.
