We had an insightful discussion during our recent Panels with a Purpose, centered around “Enhancing Retention Through a Strong Sense of Belonging”. Our panelists shared their experiences on the importance of creating a sense of belonging within our Company, and how it positively impacts employee satisfaction. At Cooper Standard, we believe that employees who feel they belong are more likely to enjoy their work and engage at a deeper level. From fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace to promoting open communication and encouraging employee involvement, there are many ways we can enhance a sense of belonging within our organization. The Cooper Standard China team recently hosted a ShenKun "Cycling for Success" Sports Day where employees from Qingpu, Kunshan 1, 2 and 3 came together to form six spirited teams, along with an energetic cheerleading team from our Asia Pacific Headquarters. With more than 300 employees participating, the excitement was contagious as they competed in a cycling race to support a local charity. Not only was it a day filled with fun, competition and teamwork, but it also allowed us to make a positive impact in the community. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event a memorable one. A special shoutout to Kunshan 1 for their outstanding performance winning the team competition Grand Slam! Last week, our SE MI employees came together for an amazing cause at our Global Technology Center in Livonia. We are proud to share that we were able to collect 25 bikes for Free Bikes 4 Kidz Detroit and help make a difference in the lives of under-resourced children in our community. A big thank you to everyone who donated and a special shoutout to our Cooper Standard Ford Engineering Team for organizing this event!
