Our South America team had the opportunity to celebrate Safety Month with one of our esteemed customers in Brazil. Our teams had an incredible experience that allowed us to build relationships through meaningful conversations around safety and our core values. Cooper Standard’s safety incident rate continues to outperform our world-class benchmark, and we are especially proud of the 33 CS facilities that have a perfect safety record of zero reported incidents for 2023. It's amazing to see the safety focus at our Mt. Sterling, Kentucky location! Last October, they implemented a quick response program for any incidents, and now in 2023, they have started a weekly management safety hunt to actively search for potential safety issues and address them directly. We're proud of our team for creating a strong Safety First culture!
Our Cooper Standard Serbia team was honored to welcome the US Ambassador to Serbia, Christopher R. Hill, to our Sremska Mitrovica facility during his visit to the Srem district. We welcomed the opportunity to share an overview of the Company and our operations in Serbia. It was an incredible experience to have the ambassador with us, and we look forward to continuing our relationship.

It was encouraging to see the exchange of ideas and perspectives from our global panel. We were reminded how important it is to recognize and appreciate the different styles, experiences, and perspectives that each generation offers, and to foster an inclusive work environment that supports and values our diversity. Last week, employees from Southeast Michigan had an incredible time volunteering at the Cadillac Urban Gardens and Forgotten Harvest! Our team worked hard to help beautify the garden and package emergency food boxes for families in need. It was an honor to partner again with such amazing organizations!
