General Dynamics Mission Systems was well represented at the 14th annual Run to Home Base fundraiser. With 18 participants from Taunton, Dedham and Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in attendance (along with three joining virtually from Texas, Florida and South Carolina). “I’ve been participating since 2015; this is a cause very near and dear to my heart. My son is in the military and while I desperately hope he never needs the Home Base Program, I am comforted to know they are there,” Mary Beth L., General Dynamics Mission Systems. General Dynamics – New England raised just under 100k! These efforts have a direct impact on the lives of veterans, active-duty service members, and their families because of the support and participation of #RunToHomeBase.
On top of networking and mentorship, real life projects and work, General Dynamics Mission Systems is invested in the communities our interns (and employees) are in! Interns get a day during their summer here to volunteer in the local community they are apart of. “I feel that getting interns, members of our Engineering Leadership Program, or anyone involved with volunteer/community activities is important to becoming a well-rounded professional and person in general. The team that participated at the Feed My Starving Children event packaged critical meals for those in need, enjoyed each other’s company, and had some laughs along the way.” said Jed E., Intern Program Lead in Bloomington, MN. #ICYMI – WayUp announced General Dynamics is on the Top 100 Internship Programs list!
