IGS Energy and other local companies are matching donations in support of the United Way of Central Ohio Community Response Fund to help workers and their families during the COVID-19 crisis. We encourage everyone to give what they can to this campaign to help nonprofit groups requiring additional resources to help those in need right now.
If you ever find yourself in Columbus, OH be sure to check out a Columbus Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena and look out for our IGS Energy Blimp! It is a remote control blimp that floats around during intermissions of hockey games and drops goodies to fans via mini-parachutes!
IGS Impact’s Renewable Energy Corps gives employees the opportunity to get hands-on with renewable energy and make a lasting impact in communities in the U.S., Mexico, and Nicaragua. Through our partnership with GRID Alternatives, IGS sponsors 10-20 employee each year to travel to communities in the U.S., Nicaragua, and Mexico to install solar systems. These immersive trips are a great way for employees to learn more about renewable energy, sustainable development, and themselves. “It was an amazing experience that was life changing. Did you know that IGS hosted a remote location event for Leader Cast Women 2019? What even is Leadercast? At Leadercast Women 2019, men and women alike were encouraged to take courage in their daily lives, whether it be in the workplace or at home. Together, at three different day long off-site development events, we heard from 9 from inspiring women leaders and learned more about seizing courageous moments.
