THE MEET OUR MANAGERS SERIES -ERIC ARLING, Director of Operations Prior to working for IEL, Eric worked in sales selling insurance and financial products. He believes having a sales background is helpful in any organization, and it is especially helpful to his role as Director of Operations. "Sales and customer service are part of every department at IEL, it just looks a little different depending on the team. Just because someone is in Operations doesn't mean those skills are no longer useful or valuable. They are critical to what we do on a daily basis." \Eric believes the most exciting thing about working for IEL to be the development of our teams and services to both internal and external partners. "Watching people learn new skills to help impact the company's success is fun to be a part of." He describes IEL as a collaborative environment and believes the most surprising thing about our company is how employee focused we remain even as we grow into a more complex organization. Eric says, "the employee remains the central figure when it comes to strategic planning."

EMPLOYEE FEATURE WEDNESDAY: Today, meet Zach Kummer aka ZK aka KOOMZ. Zach started working with IEL *right* after graduating from Ohio University 9 years ago. About two years ago, he moved from broker to Sales Engagement Manager.
