Meet Margaret Carpenter, Receptionist at Morning Pointe of Lenoir City, Tennessee, Assisted Living. Margaret has worked at the building for 4 years and joined the team after finding retirement wasn't stimulating enough for her. Her favorite part of her job is making the residents laugh. "It's a wonderful job," she shared. "The residents are wonderful people. Everybody is so friendly and kind. You can't find that just anywhere."
Meet Ashley Coapman, LPN, Director of Nursing at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Knoxville (TN). She has been the DON at The Lantern since it opened in 2020. She has a background in home health and wound care and loves working with the memory care population. "They have great big hearts, and it's a blessing to be here for them and for their families," Ashley said. Morning Pointe also paid for Ashley to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner. We're glad to have her on our team!

Dawn Pittman, Lantern Program Director at The Lantern Alzheimer's Center of Excellence in Lexington, KY, has worked for Morning Pointe for 6 years. She oversees activities at the memory care center, which is both fun and challenging. “I always knew I wanted to help people,” Dawn shared. "I started working for Morning Pointe as a Resident Assistant, and I just fell in love with it." Every resident is different, and every moment is different. “You never know what’s going to happen,” Dawn said. “You have to be flexible and creative and meet them where they’re at. If it’s the 1960s, you’re right there with them.
