Peabody Helping Hands was proud to volunteer and play a critical role in helping to end hunger yesterday at the The Greater Boston Food Bank. Now, more than ever, GBFB needs our support to help sort and package food for distribution to hungry families across Eastern Massachusetts. Barstow Village residents in Hanover, MA recently enjoyed a community event with burgers, hot dogs, chips, salads, pasta salads, and desserts. The theme was a luau party and the decorations were festive along with the entertainment, Big Smile Entertainmentâs âBig Kahuna Luauâ, courtesy of the MassHousing TAP Program. Valley Brook Village residents recently enjoyed a fun filled day of fishing at the Perth Amboy Harborside Marina. Throughout the day there were several nibbles, but no-one was lucky enough to catch any fish large enough to keep. Fortunately, one resident did reel in a free brand-new fishing rod, which was generously donated by local store owner, Jolanda Flores, at American Pride Bait and Tackle Shop.
