Yesterday, our residents celebrated Mother's Day in a big way! Chelsea Village residents in Chelsea, MA each received a bag of sweets and treats to enjoy. Residents in Hanover, MA's Barstow Village each received a carnation hand delivered by Peabody Team Members Kristen and Jessica. And last but not least, residents at Rogers Hall in Lowell, MA celebrated all the moms in their lives with “Muffins for Mom.” Residents were invited to the Community Room where they received a muffin and a rose! Residents at Peter Sanborn Reading in Reading, MA took advantage of the beautiful Spring weather and had Representative, Shayla Lopez of Heart to Home Meals USA set up a table out on their patio. Heart to Home Meals creates quick and delicious meals with seniors in mind so they can spend less time cooking and more time enjoying life. 37 residents attended the event and Shayla gave each of them a short presentation on the service they provide and answered any questions that folks had. Each resident left with a bag full of a complete Turkey Dinner, a Spring/Summer Meal Catalog, a coupon for a Free Dessert, and a one time “5 meal deal” along with a pen and crossword puzzle book. April Showers Bring May Flowers! 🌻 Residents living in the Merrimack Valley Regional Wellness Nurse Portfolio, which include Rita Hall Apartments in Lawrence, MA, Market Mill Apartments in Lowell, MA, Merrimack Valley Apartments in Methuen, MA, Rogers Hall in Lowell, MA, Mazur Park Apartments in Lowell, MA, and Peter Sanborn Reading in Reading, MA enjoyed socially distanced "Grab and Go" events sponsored by community partner UnitedHealthcare. Residents had the opportunity to learn about the resources that United Healthcare has to offer and received a goody bag which included a rain poncho.
