The RISE Development team was honored to attend and present at Bisnow’s Orlando State of The Market today. Matthew Marshall, Senior Vice President of Development, spoke alongside a panel of colleagues on the topic “The Rise of Residential: Exploring Multifamily and SFR Trends.” Matt was joined by fellow development managers, Tyler Drucker and Jamie Hamilton, to represent RISE at this informative event.

RISE is thrilled to announce our public-private partnership with the University of Tennessee to deliver ~2,500 student beds to campus with three new residential communities delivering in the Fall 2025 and 2026 semesters. The first two residential communities will be delivered for the Fall 2025 semester, while the third residential community will be adjacent to Lindsey Nelson Stadium and will feature extensive ground floor common space that will be programed to complement the adjacent UT Baseball facilities. The University and RISE will maintain the buildings through a long-term shared services partnership. The is the first housing public-private partnership approved at a university in the state of Tennessee.
RISE is pleased to announce we have once again been named to Student Housing Business’ annual list of the industry’s Top Developers. RISE’s current pipeline of student housing projects includes on-campus P3 developments, such as Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL, as well as off-campus, purpose-built student housing, such as RISE Thirty Fourth in Gainesville, FL. Recent student projects, delivered on-budget and on-time, include P3 developments at Appalachian State University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
All this week, RISE has been celebrating our maintenance teams and recognizing their hard work that keeps our communities upkept, clean, and safe. Through appreciation luncheons and team events, on-site management has attempted to reflect just a bit of the “Love. Serve. Care.” that our maintenance teams show residents every day. According to one resident review, maintenance is truly the heart of our communities.
Our drive to not only build homes for today, but also legacies that last, is backed by decades of industry experience. This experience has helped us define a thorough approach to preconstruction and construction management that allows us to deliver on a client’s definition of success. Our approach is the same as our mission: to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.
We were thrilled to learn that West Campus Housing at our App State P3 development was awarded the Student Housing Business Innovator Award for Best Public/Private Partnership Development. As part of the InterFace Student Housing Conference, this awards ceremony reflects the judgment of 200 industry experts on over 150 entries in 28 categories relevant to on- and off-campus housing. RISE delivered over 2,300 beds to the App State campus across three phases as part of a transformative public/private partnership. The final phase delivered a 204K+ SF residence hall on-budget and on-time for the Fall 2022 semester. Congratulations to the entire team who had a hand in the success of this transformative and inspired, on-campus project.
Congratulations to our stellar team at University Courtyard Youngstown for hitting 100% pre-lease for Fall 2023! Through tremendous effort, the UCY team officially sold out of their last bed for the ‘23-‘24 school year all just shy of April. The team now has the pleasure of showcasing the RISE Difference to over 400 residents when they welcome them home for the Fall semester.
