Our communities showcase our culture throughout their development, construction, and management. The RISE difference shines through when we adhere to our mission: to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.
Maple Hall is a 548-bed, on-campus student development delivered via a public private partnership (P3) between RISE and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. It was delivered this year on-budget and on-time; ready for student residents entering the fall semester. An 8-story tower of floor-to-ceiling glass at the community’s main entrance serves as a prominent corner element and acts as a campus beacon. Common floor lounges on each of the residential floors provide views of New York City and Newark skylines, and an elevated courtyard welcomes residents to gather and engage with fantastic open-air amenities. The planning, design, and development of this residence hall was the result of an interactive and collaborative approach with the university. RISE is proud to continue to provide facilities management for this stunning new addition to NJIT’s campus.
RISE strives to provide more than housing. Our mission is woven throughout our communities through design, construction, and the relationships we build with residents and partners. RISE communities offer amenities and features that enrich the lives of our residents while providing an anchor and sense of place. It’s about more than what we build. It’s about who we’re building it for and where we put our footprint. Among many examples, our RISE Doro development perhaps highlights the consideration of “sense of place” the most. Where location is knitted into the community’s DNA. Future residents of RISE Doro will experience convenient access to the best entertainment and sports that Jacksonville has to offer. Our decisions on what we build, and where we build it, is guided by our mission to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.
We love seeing a project take shape. From the early days of predevelopment, through construction, to lease-up, and finally managing resident events, the RISE standard is applied to every detail and every step of the process. As the lumber and concrete takes its form, we are privileged to know we have the continued opportunity to live out our mission: to and improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time. Shown here is RISE Bartram Park - one of several multifamily developments in Jacksonville currently taking shape where we are excited to impact our future residents with love, service, and care.
Greg Hunter, RISE’s Chief Financial Officer, celebrated his 24th year at the company on November 16. While Greg has excelled in his duties in the CFO role with a tremendous degree of success, it is his commitment to RISE’s philosophy of love, service, and care that has allowed him to make such an impact on his team, our partners, and the entire RISE organization. Congratulations, Greg!
RISE team members and their families joined over 1,700 other volunteers last weekend packing meals and books at Hunger Fight’s 10th Annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Packing Event on November 11 & 12 in Jacksonville, FL. Eighty-seven organizations and businesses came together to produce 427,560 meals as well as pack 20,000 books to distribute to local children. Hunger Fight is based in Jacksonville but maintains additional offices throughout North Florida and South Georgia. Hunger fight works with businesses, foundations, and community groups to host packing events. They work with thousands of volunteers to end hunger and illiteracy for local children by providing them meals and books that keep them well-fed and well-read. RISE’s mission is to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time. This mission informs every decision made, including the standards we set for development, construction, management, and the partnerships we forge.
