RISE Florence Villa marks our second build-for-rent community to begin construction in Davenport and will offer 224 townhomes for rent delivering in 2024. “Our commitment to a higher standard from the beginning of this development, through financing, and eventually establishing RISE Florence Villa as a premier residential community is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team and all our partners.” – Greg Hunter, RISE CFO
RISE Julington recently welcomed its first residents home following the completion of its first phase. This 260-unit multifamily development is the first RISE community in Jacksonville to be occupied - with more soon to follow. RISE is actively building three other communities in Jacksonville; but our commitment to the city has the RISE pipeline extending much further out with exciting new developments on the way. We are excited to RISE together with the First Coast City, along with all of North Florida, as we continue to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.
After a thrilling upset last week, The Appalachian State Mountaineers defeated the #6 team in the country and earned the right to host college football’s premier pre-game show, ESPN College Gameday, for the first time in the University’s history. Coincidentally, RISE delivered the final phase of a transformative, P3 development earlier this year which we are thrilled to see highlighted. Congratulations to the App State administration for not only this stunning success on the football field, but also for having the vision and dedication to realize their campus dream. Tune in to ESPN this Saturday from 9am-12pm to see this beautiful campus showcased in high definition.
We hope all our partners, teams, and extended RISE family had a great Labor Day Weekend. Pictured is the flag flying proudly at our development in Fairfax, VA over the holiday weekend. This development, which will provide a home to 793 residents in Fall 2024, will serve students at George Mason University. RISE is proud of the hard work exhibited by our team members across the country and our excellent partners. We are all striving together to deliver a higher standard through love, service, and care. With August ending, the hard-working teams at RISE’s student housing communities have successfully managed another cycle of move-outs, property repairs, and move-ins. This time of the year, known as “Turn,” presents many challenges and a short time to overcome them. However, our teams have demonstrated going not only the extra mile, but the extra inch, to ensure a smooth process. Across the RISE portfolio, thousands of student residents have been welcomed home for the Fall semester; and our teams are prepared to make an impact through the love, service, and care that elevates the RISE standard. Already, our communities are preparing and delivering resident appreciation events, giveaways, and community-building activities. Another way RISE is living out its mission to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.

Zenith recognized RISE with its Safety Achievement Award which celebrates safety & health excellence – beyond compliance requirements. Zenith customers are nominated for this award based on characteristics, observed and confirmed by regional-specific Zenith professionals. To emphasize the occasion, RISE’s Zenith company representative, Revis McClairen, paid a personal visit to the Valdosta office last week to present our Director of Human Resources, Brett Johnson, with a plaque recognizing the achievement. In his brief presentation, Revis noted the difficulty of achieving this award noting it takes multiple, consecutive years of good outcomes. He believes that it is a company’s culture which drives the success of award nominees.
