RaceTrac's 2015 Office Olympic results are in! Three Departments brought home multiple medals on Friday in the Store Support Center -- Accounting, Energy Dispatch, and Information Systems. Accounting dominated the day, bringing home four golds! Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!
Throw Back Thursday! In 2012, we opened our first 6,000 ft Store in Acworth, Georgia. It's amazing how far we've come from our very first store, Trackside Stations, in St. Louis, Missouri in 1934!
Wednesday Highlight: RaceTrac’s Environmental department recently visited one or our newest stores located in Woodstock, GA. They are “Keeping Trac” of how the tanks are being installed along with the piping configuration. They even got to walk on top of the tanks! The Environmental team makes sure that our tanks stay in compliance with standards so we ensure we are selling top quality fuel. A few weeks ago, our Store Support Center welcomed 20 bright eyed, fresh faces to kick off our 2015 All Stars Intern Program. The interns have spent the past week getting to know each other during a team building challenge course, taking store rides to visit a few of our Georgia stores, getting to know our Leadership Team and learning how a store operates in-store training. Please join us in welcoming these wonderful new team members!
On Friday, April 24, our Store Support Center hosted another Intern for a Day event. Twelve team members, from our stores, acted as interns by attending meetings, shadowed a mentor and interacted in a Q&A session with Executives to see what a day in the life at the Store Support Center looks like. We cannot wait to host more Intern for a Day events! Thank you to all the departments and leaders who continually support our efforts!
