In this together: Our clients around the world are doing what they can to help during this COVID-19 pandemic. P&G, a longtime client we’ve supported for more than 30 years from our Lima, Ohio office, recently switched from perfume production to hand sanitizer—and our process engineering experts were happy to help them with the conversion. P&G, with help from the community, was able to produce hand sanitizer for donation to local hospitals, nonprofit agencies, and first responders. #COVID19 #InThisTogether

Earlier this week, SSOE’s corporate safety team found we had a surplus of N95 respirator masks at our Toledo headquarters. We reached out to our local healthcare clients to see if they could use the excess to protect their employees during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Last night, we dropped off a few hundred masks to ProMedica and Mercy Health and also put some in the mail for our friends at the Sandusky Emergency Management Association. We’re doing what we can to support our clients and communities during this time. #COVID19 #SSOEcares
Tennessee strong! Employees at our Nashville office recently collected two SUVs full of empty boxes for people moving out of damaged or destroyed homes as a result of the Tennessee tornadoes, along with food and personal care items. In addition, those that were available pitched in to help distribute the supplies to families through the Hispanic Family Foundation and assess their current needs. We are by no means done and continue to look for opportunities to help wherever we can. #SSOEsoutheast #SSOEcares

Safety, by design. Our healthcare experts are focused on designing comprehensive, innovative healing spaces with patient safety in mind. This goes beyond incorporating patient preferences into our designs that improve the level of care our clients are able to provide, but also being concerned with infection control and interim life safety measures during construction beyond what OSHA regulations require. Regardless of our role in the construction phase, we build our safety recommendations into our designs so it is one less thing our clients—and their patients—need to worry about. #PatientSafetyAwarenessWeek
