Fueling tomorrow! On Friday, a group of employees from our world headquarters volunteered at Exploring Engineering Day at The University of Toledo College of Engineering, an outreach event for Toledo Public Schools Gifted and Talented Program. We had a blast building motors, bridges, and catapults with the more than a hundred fifth and sixth graders.
SSOE’s Erick Kuri, Mexico Business Leader and Operations Manager, wrote an article recently featured in GlobalAutoIndustry.com’s LATINtalk eJournal, an email and online publication that provides international business solutions for automotive industry professionals. Within, Erick examines the EPCM project delivery approach—one of a number of delivery models we utilize at SSOE—and some of the benefits for corporations with a growing presence in Mexico or those just beginning to look at expanding internationally. #SSOEmexico

SSOE’s Vince DiPofi, President and CEO, was recently featured in Toledo newspaper The Blade discussing the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus on our normal flow of business. With 20+ offices—including international locations in China, Mexico, and India—and clients around the world, business trips are a routine occurrence for many of our employees. In the spirit of our safety-always culture, SSOE has ceased travel to and from China since the initial outbreak, and will continue to support requests made by the CDC as it relates to travel restrictions. #ForSafetysSake #SafetyAlways

Jessica and fellow panelists were featured in this Advertiser-Tribune article that highlights each of their respective career paths. In Jessica’s case, she longed to work in the field of construction and shared with attendees how she was fearful that as a woman she would struggle to find opportunities, but was ultimately surprised to find out that was not the case at all. #InternationalWomensDay #chooseSSOE
In honor of International Women’s Day, we celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world and in our offices in China, India, Mexico, and across the U.S. At SSOE, we value all people, celebrate inclusion and diversity, and support women’s rights. In light of the gender-based violence that is taking place in Mexico, we also want to take this opportunity to voice that we stand in solidarity with those participating in tomorrow’s “A Day Without Women” and support any of our female employees who plan to join in the daylong strike. #InternationalWomensDay #UnDiaSinMujeres #SSOEmexico
