10th October marks World Mental Health Day. At Studco, we actively encourage each other to take care of our mental health. This can be as simple as taking the time to check in and support each other, or utilizing confidential support services which Studco partners with.
Last week marked National Truck Drivers Week and Studco was pleased to thank our dedicated drivers for their hard work and commitment. Studco, and the nation, would come to a stop without their excellent work.
We are pleased to congratulate Mark Vaccarelli on his promotion to Building Products Sales Supervisor. Since joining Studco over 2 years ago, Mark has been a great support in building and training the existing Building Products inside sales team. His extensive product and customer knowledge and willingness to drive results and ensure excellent customer service has helped support Studco’s continued growth. We are very excited for Mark’s promotion to Sales Supervisor and look forward to watching him continue to grow in the role and contribute to the business' continued success.
We are pleased to congratulate Michael Solomons on his promotion from Receiving & Inventory Specialist to Logistics Supervisor. Mike joined Studco just over a year ago and has played an integral role in helping us secure a high level of Inventory accuracy. While doing this he has also supported the first shift Logistics team with day-to-day operations showing great leadership. We are very excited for Mike’s promotion to Logistics Supervisor and look forward to watching him continue to grow in the role and support the businesses continued success.
We are pleased to congratulate Garrett Nelson on his promotion from EZ Concept Lead Inside Sales to Business Development Manager – Eastern Region. Garrett has been with Studco for over 5 years and has played a critical role in EZ Concept’s continued success and expansion. Transitioning recently to take on more travel within the Eastern Region, Garrett’s focus has shifted toward developing new business and educating potential future customers on the uniqueness and aesthetic appeal of our EZ Concept product range for modern interiors. We are very excited to see the business continue to grow in the Easter Region under the leadership of Garrett in his new role.
We are pleased to congratulate Abbey Buscaglia on her promotion from EZ Concept Inside Sales support to EZ Concept Inside Sales Supervisor. Abbey has been with Studco for just under 2 years and in that time has developed into a strong leader for the team who is highly skilled and a knowledge support for our customer base. She has taken an active role in the past year leading, coaching and training new team members and has been an intricate part of the development and success of our inside sales team. We are very pleased to see Abbey now taking formal responsibility for the productivity of the inside sales team and look forward to the EZ Concept division’s continued success under her leadership!

Congratulations to Darnell McFayden for receiving the STUDCO’S BEST AWARD! Darnell goes to great lengths to make things easier for all stakeholders. He has worked hard to increase cycle count accuracy and is flexible with his working times to accommodate early or late incoming coil trucks. Darnell is committed to the production team’s success, backing up the team as a Mill 5 operator. He has embraced a leadership role in the coil bay and ensures it is clean, organized and set up for the day. Keep up the great work Darnell!
