Today is National Pet Day and it’s also our fourth day in #10DaysofGiving. Our employees get 16 paid volunteer hours each year, so they are using some of them to volunteer at a local animal rescue organization this month. This past month, we celebrated our newly relocated and remodeled stores with a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit chosen by each local store team. In March, we donated to the JR Kickz Foundation (chosen by the Philadelphia, PA – Snyder Ave store) and Calvert Tide Inc. (chosen by the Lusby, MD store).
Happy National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day! Did you know that TCC was started by Steve and Phyllis Moorehead as one single wireless store in Marion, Indiana? Today, the company has grown nationwide and is run by their son, Scott Moorehead.
Last month for our Teachers Rock event, our stores donated care kits filled with supplies to local schools, and we also surprised 23 schools with a $1,000 Amazon gift card. The job teachers do every day is essential, so we are proud to be able to support them through this event.
We are proud to celebrate the achievements of the amazing women at TCC today on International Women's Day.
