It's time for our first #BeYouAtTR - Intern edition feature of the year! Meet Julia, a Marketing Intern working in demand generation in Minneapolis–Saint Paul "My favorite part about being an intern at Thomson Reuters is the opportunities and the people. I get to connect with so many great individuals every day and have found the possibilities of what I can accomplish are endless. My favorite project I've worked on so far is a video series to keep employees informed on everything happening in product development and sales. A fun fact about me is that I grew up in a small town called Random Lake, Wisconsin, where my first job was working at a cheese store! I am a true Wisconsinite through and through. Go Pack Go!"
In May, Thomson Reuters Core Publishing Solutions welcomed a special group of guests: our teammates' family and friends! The open house provided an incredible opportunity for everyone to showcase their workspace and share their pride in their profession with their loved ones. Within just four hours, we were thrilled to host over 500 guests, including new and seasoned teammates. One of the most remarkable aspects of Thomson Reuters Core Publishing Solutions is the rich tradition of family history. Many of the guests were retirees and relatives of current employees, representing multiple generations in the trade. Their presence added an extra layer of significance to the event. As our guests explored the premises, there was a sense of wonder and amazement at the incredible transformations that Core Publishing Solutions has undergone over the years. Witnessing the cutting-edge technology in our print and binding environment left everyone truly impressed and excited to come back again.

Did you know that Thomson Reuters has 10 Business Resource Groups (BRGs) with more than 80 chapters and 160 co-chairs? Our BRGs are employee-led groups that create awareness and understanding of the diverse backgrounds and experiences represented throughout the business. And guess what? Two weeks ago, our Toronto office hosted its first BRG fair! It was a fantastic opportunity for teammates to meet and connect with the remarkable co-chairs from various BRGs, including the Black Employee Network, Indigenous Peoples Network, Pride at Work, Women at TR, and Interfaith Employee Network. At the fair, teammates engaged in meaningful conversations, learned from diverse perspectives, and made new connections. We are looking forward to sharing more from our next BRG fair, as these take place at our global offices throughout the year.

"In a world where Pride is a month-long at best, and is mostly about rainbows, glitter, and lots of partying, I’m proud to belong to a community that extends far beyond the superficial. I’m proud to work at a company that actively supports marginalized communities and enables us through employee-led networks and an extended benefits program that supports LGBTQIAP+ employees. I’m proud that I can show up authentically each day and find belonging amongst my peers and support from my leaders." We had the privilege of speaking with Jude Hirman, an Agile Coach in our Toronto office, to learn why Pride month matters to her. Read now:
