A few of the main duties of an event specialist are handing out free samples, boosting company awareness, setting up and taking down displays, and interacting with potential customers. They also have to report the success of the event to management. Some of the jobs titles that an event specialist could grow into are event manager and event coordinator.

An event specialist should have two years of experience working events as well as a bachelor's degree in marketing. One of the most important skills that an event specialist will have is the ability to talk to anyone.
