As a Health Administrator you will manage a geriatric facility to provide optimal care to patients while meeting corporate metrics and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations. You will provide operational oversight of staff to include nursing, food service, facility maintenance, grounds keeping, transportation, administration and marketing.
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a position of increasing responsibility in a geriatric facility and hold a bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or related field and hold any appropriate geriatric license required by the state. You will be an expert in all aspects of geriatric facility management and have excellent communication skills to interact with patients, family members and medical staff. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of patient information and accurately billing Medicare, receiving patient Social Security benefits and applying those accurately to patient accounts.
