Hourly people, who need a break and a paycheck, are not paid when days are taken. Paid once a year as an award.

There is only paid vacation. Hourly employees take a hit on their check and are 'reimbursed' on their anniversary.

1 week per year paid. Does not accrue over time, you are awarded 1 week AFTER your first year is completed and do not get another day available to you until your next year is complete. 2 weeks are given after 5 years. There are longevity increases for 3 and 4 weeks but I do not remember what they are ... you essentially have to work their your entire career to see them however.
