Even though I did not work from home on a regular basis there were employees who said it was a great benefit to have.

The official policy is that employees can work remotely 1-2 days a week as long as their manager agrees. It's a great benefit as long as the manager works with you.

The work from home benefit would be great if the benefit were administered clearly and consistently. Favoritism, inequities and bait and switch commitments are a definite problem within pockets of the organizations.
