Even before Covid, BASF has always been advanced with WFH policies. Our IT system was generally setup to deal with the large number of employees working from home when the offices closed at the onset of the pandemic. It's just a matter of convincing the old hierarchy that forcing people into the office does not equal productivity or long-term employee retention. HR and leadership need to figure out how we can come together to work in non-traditional locations instead of forcing us into the remote, far away offices.
