Ok nothing to write home about

Biogen offers a couple of options like PPO, HMO, etc with different plans: local (Tufts) and nationwide (BCBS)

Low deductible. Many options

Biogen pays a good portion of premiums. Coverage is not bad.

Used to be awesome, PPO is ultra expensive, now being pushed to HSA

After talking with a BCBS representative at the benefits fair during open enrollment for 2018, it was clear that the HSA was being pushed on the opinion that consumers could shop around for best prices. Having tried that, it is truly impossible. There is no transparency in health care prices. The HSA might still be a great option for some people, but it takes some very careful consideration not to be in the hole if you have chronic conditions.

Very good...lots of choices for all types of families.
