Everyone in production has strict guidelines to work to (This is a good thing because we make airplanes), so everyone has to be trained in their specific role. They'll never thrust anyone into anything they might mess up because thats very bad for business. So yes, lots of in-house training. There's a specific 'joint program' between the union and the company, and a small trade school on site, so there's a pretty clear path for training. They also encourage people to study and further their education, I believe there's reimbursements and incentives for when you finish.

They have a great training program. They will pair you up with a buddy as well provide ample time to ramp up with small assignments increasing in complexity as your confidence grows.
