Health Insurance

At the time when I worked there, the insurance would cover things that other insurance didn't cover. There were several options and levels of insurance based on your need, so the cost reflected that as well. I heard that it changed after I left, however, so I am not sure of current health insurance.

They really screwed it up after ACA. THey put more burden on staff than other employers did.

Best-Fertility Coverage 100%. Worst they have moved to a Consumer High Deductible Plan as of 2015.

Booz Allen maintains a large and varied selection of health care benefits which allows the employee to choose what they need for their family and decline what is not necessary. The health care benefits also allows for life event changes to occur as needed and you do not have to wait for the next enrollment session.

The cost is too high ($200 a month for two people) and the deductibles are to high ($2600 a year before benefits kick in)

Not a great health plan. Not as bad as some, but not good.

The health insurance is average. However it is good enough to take care of yourself.
