24 hours of paid sick time for THE YEAR? That's a joke. We earn those sick hours, we are human, we get sick, it's not right to limit how much we can use, especially long term and dedicated employees. It's cruel and shows lack of respect.

Depending on length of employment, you get usually a week or 2 a year. It does not roll over and you do not get credit if you do not use it (as far as I can tell). Typically I use sick time in place of vacation time.
