Begin a formal state employ, perhaps I was expecting to much to have BCBS PPO, but they offer EPO, which hopefully is also fine. They do offer PPO with UnitedHealth though.

the 401k plan is really good, rest of benefits are excellent. Include really good healthcare, vision, dental, etc.

Used to be better, but they came out and said no other companies were offering as good so they cut it so it was just as bad. Even though a factory across town pays 100% of medical.
