Premium is taken out of pay check. Several plans to chose from. Great coverage if you need to have surgery.

It is generally OK, but it used to be much better. It's getting worse due to (1) ACA/Obamacare laws put in place limiting how much employers can give their employees without being penalized, and (2) industry surveys showing CAT offered better insurance than average, so they are cutting back the options to intentionally fall back towards average.

Changing in 2017 to new system that has LOW Premiums but HUGE Deductibles. Caterpillar self insures, but uses a major insurance company to "manage". When calling the number on the ID card you need to make sure they understand your policy and not the standard policy from that insurer.

Good health insurance, but they are starting to "reevaluate" the amounts. Still covers most things and has a decent amount of doctors and options. Good overall.
