Best thing is the overall coverage plans and access to top providers. Worst thing is hard to work with HR around solving issues

Best thing is that they have insurance, which isn't saying much. Their health insurance is the worst I've had at any company before. Then, you're required to do busy work and pay out of your own pocket for lab tests to keep the premium lower. The insurance plan is set up in a way to discourage you from using it.

Health plan requires you to travel out of state for medical care. Employer health plan is self funded.

Very, very competitive benefits, from life and health insurance to company cars to employees who meet mileage criteria.

Just average medical benefits. Employee portion of premium is higher than average.

The package had lots of options but at the end of the day the coverage was TERRIBLE and horribly overpriced. I paid $800 per month to cover my spouse and myself on the middle tier plan. We had health, vision, and dental only. The insurance didn't cover anything until we paid $2000 out of pocket and even then it only covered 80%. The prescription coverage was so poor I often used Good RX instead because it was cheaper. Vacation and sick time were combined for admin staff and the company gave roughly 2 weeks per year.
