Cisco covers a large portion of the insurance cost and the coverage is good.

Expensive but thorough. Not as many alternative choices as preferred. We had Kaiser Permanente in California but, even though there is a Kaiser Permanente here, it is not acceptable as a health insurance choice.

Average plan... Cisco offers the minimum to offset costs which drives up the standard deduction for its employees

Best thing is Cisco's self-insured, so it calls the shots with insurance companies. Somebody like Cigna is merely an administrator/agent, with Cisco being the principal. Can't really think of anything bad here - had trouble getting coverage for some less traditional therapies for my kid, but novelty care coverage would be a struggle anywhere.
