Very comprehensive plans that are widely accepted, with good health incentive programs that you can participate in to offset out of pocket costs

Good options, pre-existing conditions ok. premiums are going up every year and are a little steep for a large company.

Cisco provides very well for the health of its employees. There are progressive features to their plans.

Self-insured -- many things that wouldn't normally be covered at least have a chance of being considered. Insurance plan choices were pretty typical -- nothing outstanding about any of the plans (they weren't sub-par either).

It continually gets worse and worse. Cisco blames the Affordable Care Act, but in reality, if that were true, both the PPO and the High deductible plan would be impacted. Just the more expensive PPO plan gets worse and worse, Cisco is forcing people through money to go with the high deductible plan.
