Gift matching has been reduced, and they've added new criteria which makes it hard to qualify. Example - if you make a donation end-of-year, as many of us do, you won't be able to get a match unless you're aware that the request has to be made within the same year. So a match wouldn't be provided for a donation unless you knew enough to request it immediately - and of course they didn't advise employees of this change unless after they'd requested the match.
