Dental Insurance

Comcast offers two dental plans - UCCI (United Concordia) or Aetna DMO - both of which are horrible in their own ways. Both plans still base dentist reimbursement on technology that was outdated at least a decade ago, and good luck finding any providers that will accept the insurance. If you can afford it, I strongly suggest forgoing Comcast's dental coverage and taking that money and buying a personal plan directly from Delta Dental, or whomever you prefer. I and many other employees have been asking Comcast for 10+ years to add Delta Dental as a provider, but it won't happen - because Delta Dental requires that employers NOT push the entire cost on to the employee; neither UCCI nor Aetna DMO have any such morals.
