Very limited investment options, ROI appears to be lower than market averages.

The match wasn't as good as we hoped

Dismal 401k plan. Nothing special offered through Principal - cookie cutter funds. Corporate office refused to consider adding a Brokerage Account for employees. Matching once per year, rather than every pay day or monthly.

They offered that and it was fair and it would have been better if they matched what we contributed.

Company matches up to 3% of employee contribution. Pretty standard but good to have nonetheless.

There is a 6 month wait before you become eligible. There are a decent amount of fund choices, but the performance of the funds themselves are ok at best.

Average. Nothing special or notable. Cheap one-size-fits-all plan by Principal.
