Since the downturn the matching program has changed. It is still competitive as compared to other companies.

As long as the employee invests 1% of their salary, the company matched 6% with an additional 0-6% depending on business unit and market conditions. This is a change from the old guaranteed 9% match but still a great program.

The 401k is better than any plan I've ever seen anywhere. 9% for your 1% contribution. Its unheard of.

Was very good until downturn

They used to have a 9-1 company match for the first 1% of eligible funds. This was amazing. It has been reduced to 6-1 and it might go down further.

Company matches 9% for every dollar saved.

Amongst the best in the business although low commodity prices has forced management to review it

1% from employee and 6% from the company. twice a year they have discretionary additions that could add another 6%. It used to be 1% to 9%
