I'm unsure on this but I am aware we do get sick pay, haven't used any of my sick days though.

You get sick days. Do you get to use them? Unless I was highly contagious and bedridden (which is never) I didn't use a sick day. I'd normally leave once the next manager came in because I couldn't afford to give hours to the ASMs to cover my shift.

You could get sick time. However if you have a DM that frowns upon you being out of the store then I suggest you never use it. The company doesn't have the hours to help out with you being out of the store and your management staff is very small so you would just have to make up the time somewhere else. For example if you were off on Friday and was out sick on Tuesday then who ever worked for you on Tuesday would now be off on Friday and you would work.
