Employee portion of premiums were too high and coverage options weren't great. United Health Care was also often difficult to work with and limited in providers that weren't traditional MD's so nurse practitioners were often not in network.

It's cheap which is great, but the downside is high deductibles

The health plan is expensive as well as the vision and dental

They offer several high deductible HSA plans and one PPO plan. Premiums on those plans are ridiculous and the deductibles are extremely high too. Once you meet the deductible the insurance will still typically only cover 80% of your expenses.

Health Insurance rates were kind of high.

It is good insurance but it was better
