Very good package of the benefits.

No short term disability for a part or full time package handler. All they offer is accident insurance. So if you get hurt on the job; they will fight tooth and nail workmans comp. And if you get hurt outside of work like say you tear a meniscus (similair to my situation) there is no short term disability for you to use. You need to use your pto to make money and other than that unless you are a higher level than a full time package handler you get nothing.. This is huge considering all you hear in orientation is fedex cares about its workers. My quality of life has done nothing but go down since starting work last august. Been to the dr more in the last 5 months than i have been in the last 20 years. It does not put fed ex into a favorable light when people ask how it is to work for them.
