There are employee discounts on certain things that google is involved in.

They have an employee store on campus and they give employees a twenty percent discount on merchandise there

Used to be better with large discounts for google merchandise. But nationwide discounts are nice.

discounts on google hardware and Nest products

All was good for this.

The discount on Google hardware is pretty low and you typically get a better rate when there is a sale for a holiday. I've bought a few hardware items and always gotten them for a better price through launch or holiday sale than through regular employee discount. They also don't have discounts on stuff outside of hardware (so Ads, Domains, Drive storage, Play store). Apple has much better employee discounts.
