While you can move up in "rank"...the knowledge you gain to complete more comes tax returns, there is currently no way to move up in the company, as they got rid of office managers and even with them, the only position beyond that is District Manager and they are reducing the number of DGMs..every year.

They provide tools for improvement, but between the hours you work it is really hard to find time to use them.
