Very comprehensive. Great 401k match. Great PTO that increases over time. Great health insurance plans, but expensive.

The benefits are virtually non-existent. 6-year vesting on 401k, which is a low match to begin with, and for family health/dental only about 20% covered of the total cost. Leave time is standard for a small company at 10 days + 1 personal day. In all, even for the Tallahassee market, the benefits and compensation are on the low side.

The firm offered a very comprehensive package including; health , short & long term disability, dental, 401k, generous vacation time. * Employees only need pay sm co-pays

Health insurance plan is provided with two good options (BCBS HMO/BCBS PPO). Employee responsible for 25% of the premium for self, 100% for family. Employee portion of family coverage is very high.

Great sick and vacation benefits. The rest of the package is competitive.

Great insurance (BCBS), though pricey for families, offers optional dental, vision, and long-term disability, and free short-term disability. Time off is pretty standard for private sector, starting with 2 weeks per year, with a graduated scale until you reach the max around year 11 or 12. The 401(k) matching is below average, provided at 50% of 4% employee contribution (so, 2% max match). Very lenient sick and bereavement leave policy.
