Solid from what I hear, but never used it

VSP is carrier, supposedly $300 in-network contact lens coverage but the in-network contact lens company sells at vastly inflated price ($105 out of network). You cannot order your next-year's supply of disposable contact lenses until the same month as the previous year, and with order errors and shipping delays, you will likely run out of contacts before they straighten it out. Company should allow renewal of contact lens re-order at 11 months, not require 12 months.

Great, very little out of pocket. . . Eye doctors love the plan because they are well compensated by the insurance.

They have excellent vision benefits. Working on computers every day makes it necessary to have good coverage, and they do.

Get told every visit to the doctor how great the insurance is. But the amount that it will cover for frames has not increased in over a decade, the premiums have tripled in that time. So you are paying more for less each yearr, have yet to figure out how that is 'great'.
