Anonymous Applecare At Home Advisor

The initial job training was decent... it was 2 weeks, but was nowhere NEAR long enough and was both instructor led courses which were primarily "Death by PowerPoint" and a lot of "Self-Guided-Teaching" (SGT's). The way the system is conducted needs a SEVERE revamp and needs to be 2 weeks longer... MAC training after the initial training is absolute garbage. Initial training is passable if you pay attention and have lots of caffeine readily available... any training after that is next to non-existent... I had to TEACH MYSELF the majority of the job.

You receive more than enough training. Any job "shadowing" will probably be slightly different from manager to manager but there are plenty (some would say too much) of online classes.

The job training is all over the computer and its not bad depending on what the client provides to the kelly employees for training. I think that it could be better if the training program was longer and more hands on activities are included.
