L&R Distributors recognizes that employees may need to be absent from work to care for or bond with a newborn child or a newly adopted or newly placed foster child (referred to as parental leave in this policy). L&R Distributors provides pregnancy and parental leaves of absence to all eligible employees in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and any applicable state law.
Full Time employees who have been continuously employed for at least one year may be eligible for a maximum of eight (8) weeks paid parental leave within the first 12 months of the child’s birth, adoption or placement of newly fostered child.
