Short-term disability insurance is invaluable if you become sick or disabled and aren't able to work for a short period of time. Liberty Mutual's Short-Term Disability (STD) Plan gives you the coverage you need-and it's fully paid for by Liberty Mutual. Eligible employees scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week are eligible immediately upon their date of hire.Eligible employees who are scheduled and working 30 or more hours per week participate in the Liberty Mutual Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan immediately upon their date of hire, as a condition of employment. All other eligible employees scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week are eligible to enroll for coverage.
