I was rarely ever sick so I ended up having way too many Sick Days left at resignation. Wish they would've done a combined PTO balance instead.

Sick days accrue at a measly rate and only after 90+ days if you are full-time. No sick days for the majority of employees which are hourly unless they have 30 hours weekly guaranteed, which is practically impossible

You have to tell them at least two hours in advance if you can't show up for being sick.

If you were sick, you could call in, but it was frowned upon because schedules are created the Friday before, and substitutes are difficult to find at the last minute.
