Lockheed Martin benefits

Health insurance not good at all in terms of deductible, before tax cost, etc. 401k: company matches 50% up to 4% of salary. Also in the first 5 years get 3% in stock (no employee contribution necessary). 1 week/year of sick leave. 3 weeks/year of PTO, plus various holidays (10/year).

Benefits are good with employer match percentage on savings plan. Health benefits are rising each year and services are declining.

Have larger deductibles, and expensive.

Pretty average health insurance costs but the coverage is very good. 401k matching is average but they also have a nice bonus contribution program.

The vacation time was really great and for interns they pay alot of money. its really sad when you make more than most of america as an intern

Interns don't have any benefits except discounts.

no paternity leave is offered. You can take 40 hours of paid FMLA but this is recorded on your work history as time away from the company.

I do not receive benefits from Lockheed Martin as an intern but I do know that the paid time off is great. There is a company shut down from Christmas to new years and every other Friday is off. You then get 15 paid holidays on top of that. All normal holidays are also paid time off.

Good benefits in general, though health care, like about everywhere else, was going up each year. I used to like that when you said you worked for Lockheed Martin, Aetna would jump. They still do take good care of LM employees but my last experience did not go well. Though I suspect it had much more to do with the doctor's billing office than anything LM or Aetna were responsible for. 401k and match were good and on top of that another 5% in a different tax-deferred fund...which I think just went up to 7%. Don't recall exactly.
