Lockheed Martin benefits

Ive worked at Lockheed for 5 years now doing both software development and devsecops. LM is a great company for Developers and DevSecOps Engineers and individuals wanting exposure to a large variety of technology. With great leadership and lots of hardworking, intelligent people, there's a strong team based atmosphere and enthusiasm to work together to achieve goals. Sometimes things can feel tense and scattered when doing DevSecOps at this company because it is considered the middle point between Developers and IT as well . So my team has to handle a lot if the issues which don't really pertain to DevSecOps. In addition, there is a lot of red tape on classified programs. For example, even if you get containers approved by your cyber security team, it doesn't mean it will ever getting funding. This doesn't mean you can't develop pipelines or other scripting for your automation tasks. However, my overall experience here was rich and good for my career. I recommend working here.
