Thank you for taking the time to write this review of the US 401(k) plan. Our 401(k) retirement savings plan offers employees the choice of making pre-tax and/or Roth contributions to their account. MSCI provides employees with an above industry match of 80% (on the first 6% of employee contributions) that goes into employee accounts each time they make a contribution as well as an annual qualified employer contribution of 3% of eligible cash compensation. These combine to provide employees with an employer contribution of 7.8% of eligible cash compensation. Employees are auto-enrolled in the Plan at a contribution rate of 3% of eligible base salary (on a pre-tax basis). MSCI matching contributions begin at the same time with no waiting period.
